ATD Detroit January Meeting
Kick off the New Year with the new ATD Detroit!
At our two-part chapter meeting on January 12th, you will have an opportunity to celebrate… and learn.
Part 1 – Celebrate!
Welcome to a new year with the ATD Detroit and it’s time to celebrate! We will look back at all that was accomplished in 2015 and look forward to what is in store for 2016. We will also introduce new board members and recognize those stepping down.
Part 2 – Learn! The second half of our meeting will be a structured knowledge share led by local experts from the local ATD Detroit community. You will have an opportunity to exchange information, knowledge and questions with other members and guests in 3 of the topic areas identified in the list below. You will be participating in each "exchange" for about 20 minutes, and then rotating to the next topic of your choice.
The “Leading with ENERGY” Story
This session will describe DTE Energy’s journey to create a relevant, effective, and sustainable leadership program for front line leaders.
In this session, we will look at the critical success factors in change management with use of a change management process model and gain insight on practical tools that can be used to manage change.
ROI: Estimates and Forecasts don’t have to be that complicated!
Sometimes you need a quick, uncomplicated method for an Return on Investment (ROI) on a performance improvement or training intervention. While an in-depth ROI analysis – developed along-side the intervention – may be the ideal, it is not always feasible. In some circumstances a credible forecast or estimate is the best option for providing ROI. The focus of this session is a discussion of ideas and tips for identifying credible measurements for ROI.
Have you considered pursing your Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP)? Are you interested in learning more about the process to achieving the credential?
Come learn about the process and get all your questions answered from a recent (Oct. 2015) CPLP!
This session describes the importance of pre and post training activities, and how to design and integrate pre-training and post training activities into training to motivate participants, strengthen training, and sustain the learning after training.
