Program Summary
Learning doesn't just happen because we teach. Deliberate effort needs to be made to teach in a way that participants can learn. Seasoned trainers may do this subconsciously and may not even   "know what they know." In this workshop, we will focus on several learning theories to understand the psychology behind them and find ways to use them in training design and delivery to maximize learning. Each of the theories will be demonstrated as part of this training session.

Jane is thrilled to be able to showcase the talents and skills of several of her trainers-in-training as they will join her facilitating this program for ATD. Training other trainers has been her most rewarding career experience!


 

Learning Objectives

By the end of this training, 
  • New trainers will understand several learning theories and have ideas on how to integrate them into a training session. 
  • Seasoned trainers will have the vocabulary and a consciousness about using learning theories in training sessions.

    Registrations are not considered definite or confirmed until payment has been submitted. Cancellations will be accepted until 5:00pm on Thursday, May 5th.Cancellations received prior to this time/date can be 1) refunded to the credit card less a $5 processing fee or 2)transferred to the next scheduled ATD Detroit meeting date.

    Refunds after this date cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.
