Human beings are primarily visual creatures. This means your course graphics can often get even more attention than your course content! That's good news if you are in the habit of creating amazing visuals - but it's a wasted opportunity if your graphics are just an afterthought. This interactive session will address the role that visuals play in learning retention and it will provide a few tips and tricks that will allow you to create powerful, effective graphics that will help your learners love your courses (even if you can't draw!).

Participants will:

1. Understand why visuals grab our attention so effectively.
   
2. Discover how visuals help in learning effectiveness and retention.
   
3. Learn techniques for creating more effective course visuals.

About the Speaker 

Brett is a 19 year veteran of the Metro Detroit L&D scene and he has a broad background in the visual arts. He created award-winning training and branding experiences that have relied heavily on the effective use of visual material. He has spoken about the subject on a few occasions in various states across the U.S.

Registrations are not considered definite or confirmed until payment has been submitted. Cancellations will be accepted until 5:00pm on Friday, February 10th. Cancellations received prior to this time/date can be 1) refunded to the credit card less a $5 processing fee or 2) transferred to the next scheduled ATD Detroit meeting date.

Refunds after this date cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.
