Program Summary
Human beings are primarily visual creatures. This means that course graphics can often carry a greater burden for learning and retention than most course creators realize.
While this is good news if you are in the habit of creating amazing visuals - it is a wasted opportunity if your graphics are little more than an afterthought.
We will explore how visuals help in learning effectiveness and discover six specific composition techniques that will allow instructional designers to create powerful, effective visuals. Oh, and none of these techniques requires any artistic skill whatsoever!

About the Speaker
Brett is a 20+ year veteran of the Metro Detroit L&D scene and he has a broad background in the visual arts. He created award-winning training and branding experiences that have relied heavily on the effective use of visual material. He has spoken about the subject on a few occasions in various states across the U.S.

Registrations are not considered definite or confirmed until payment has been submitted. Cancellations will be accepted until 5:00pm on Thursday, February 15th. Cancellations received prior to this time/date can be 1) refunded to the credit card less a $5 processing fee or 2) transferred to the next scheduled ATD Detroit meeting date.
Refunds after this date cannot be issued, but we will gladly accept a substitution should you wish to send someone in your place.
