Weary of fragmented, check-the-box classroom offerings for your leaders? Of course you are! Interested in a high-impact integrated learning process? Consider creating and executing a Learning Journey.

A Learning Journey is defined here as a business needs-driven development experience designed for a group (cohort) of leaders who engage in learning based on the 70/20/10 learning principles. Most often the Journey is comprised of multiple formal and informal learning components separated by back-on-the-job application periods. In this program, we’ll cover the basics about what a Learning Journey is and is not; provide practical tips for how to go about getting started; describe a Learning Journey process recently implemented at DTE Energy. We’ll also give you some time to work with colleagues to develop a brief conceptual Learning Journey outline to address needs based on a business situation.
